Mimi Divinsky Award

It was a true honour on November 11th 2022 to accept the year’s Mimi Divinsky Award for History and Narrative in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. https://www.cfpc.ca/en/home

Dr. Mimi Divinkski, who passed away in 2007, was a driving force for narrative medicine in Canada, as well as for a number of social justice causes.

The prize was awarded at this year’s Family Medicine Forum Awards Gala for a short non-fiction piece entitled “Traffic Patterns” – look for it in the January Issue of Canadian Family Physician! https://www.cfp.ca/
